Infant Teacher – Licensed Early Childhood Program
Central Christian School | Redmond, Oregon
Central Christian School is seeking a qualified Infant Teacher for our licensed Early Childhood program. This position is not entry-level and requires applicants to meet Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC) licensing and training requirements for infant teachers.
This role serves children birth–12 months and is part of a Christ-centered school serving students from infancy through 12th grade.
Position Summary
Infant Teachers provide nurturing, developmentally appropriate care in a licensed infant classroom while supporting the mission and values of Central Christian School. This position requires professional preparation, licensing compliance, and a commitment to Christian education.
Minimum Qualifications (Required at Time of Hire)
Applicants must meet ALL of the following requirements to be considered:

Active enrollment in Oregon’s Central Background Registry (CBR) and in good standing

Current Step Designation through Oregon Registry Online (ORO)

Completion of required early childhood education hours for infant teachers
(approximately 275 total training hours, as required by Oregon DELC)

Previous experience working in a licensed infant or early childhood care setting
- Ability to comply with all Oregon DELC licensing requirements, including ongoing background checks and required trainings
This position is not an entry-level role. Applicants who do not meet the above minimum qualifications should not apply.
