Position Summary

The Early Education Assistant supports the lead teacher in providing a nurturing, safe, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for young learners. This role emphasizes care, structure, and Christ-centered growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily classroom activities and routines

  • Supervise children during play, meals, and transitions

  • Support social, emotional, and spiritual development

  • Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization

  • Follow all safety, licensing, and supervision guidelines

Qualifications

  • Experience working with young children preferred

  • Patience, flexibility, and strong communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff

  • Alignment with CCS mission and values

Requirements

  • Ability to pass a background check

  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Ability to lift, bend, and remain active throughout the day
